Half the time is spent on work, half on leisure. And the weather has been great. Verbena flowers surround my window. Each day I wake up to their sweet perfume. By lunchtime, I see at least a couple of hummingbirds feeding on them. Every night I leave my window open to listen to the owl that nests in the tree by the lake. Even though I have not seen it yet. Nobody else knows how to cook, though. Kids from the neighborhood come by to swim in the lake. I don't know if their parents know, but I have not met them yet. Don't worry about the suitcase the airline has lost. Nothing in it was important. And now I have an excuse to go shopping. Perhaps I will find some nice clothes in the small shopping center nearby.
